Strange bug bites but I cant find any explanation?

I have been getting these really itch bites and my upper left thigh, , a couple on my back, and one on my left arm (nothing has bitten the right side on my body yet, weird right?). I though they might be flea or beg bug bite (even though there are no signs of either one) because new bites only seem to appear in the morning. I ended up doing everything to get rid on them (wash my bed, spray my room, etc.) but I keep getting new bites. But what is worrying me now is the bite on my arm has another bite about an inch away from it and the two bites are connected with a red line like something burrowed from one to the other. Since that is the only one I can see I don't know if the rest are like that too. Does anyone know what this could be?
