Problem accessing briefcase?

"Error Message !, No Shared Folders available. Sorry, the owner has not enabled any shared folders in their account." is the error message displayed when I try to access my folders in my briefcase. The error occurs only on some folders in my briefcase, but they're very important to me. Could someone please guide me towards a solution.
