Can anyone explain liberalism? I mean , really ,?

we have not built any new refineries in 25 yrs , cannot do new drilling on our continent , and we have all but now forced ourselelves into oil dependence on unfriendly countries. There's more though , because we have forced ourselves into alternative fuels , the price of corn has gone off the map and is partly responsible for starving out the third world. Help , Scoty , beam me up!
