Please help! I think my cat just attacked me for no reason! im bleeding...?

I am 13, and I was just playing with my cat 10 minutes ago. He was chasing this little remote controlled flying dragon fly thing. The he was about to pounce on it. I didnt want him to break it, so i tapped him gently on the back, and he got a bad shock. I didnt mean to... Then I went to see if he was alright, picked him up, and he literallu shredded my arm! Its bleeding now. The biggest cut is approxamately 3-4 inches long. there are at least 13. A couple are bleeding. It really hurts. They are all around my wrist. If I go tell my dad, he will blame me, he always does, and i'll end up getting in trouble for nothing! My mum is a 1st aider, and if i tell her, she will just tell my dad! My dad will say I was being stupid, because he saw when my cat got scared. But when I went to confort the cat he attacked me!! Hes gonna say i provoked the cat. He is normally a really sweet thing... i dunno what happend! What do I do?? Im in a lot of pain! and why did he do it??
