Legends of zelda. I'm stuck?

the part where I'm on the secret island at the top of the northwestern map. I had to draw a line at the eastern tiles and western tiles. Then dig at the extension of these lines cross. But I dug everywhere around it and I can't find anything except a treasure map but I'm not sure thats important yet. Help!?
