Decorating my Living Room....Help! What to do next?

In my living room, I have desert tan walls (almost like a muted yellow/gold tone). I have all espresso brown furniture and a light brown sofa. Also, I have a great rug that has that "so in right now" blue, brown, taupe, yellow combo. My question is how should I accessorize and make the room more interesting. Any design ideas?
